Are Capshock mouthguards reusable?

Capshock mouthguards remain functional as standard mouthguards after detecting a concussion. However, the capsules that detect potential concussive events are designed for one-time use and will not function again after imploding. Therefore, we strongly advise against reusing the mouthguard for impact detection purposes. For optimal safety, we recommend replacing the mouthguard to ensure continued protection and accurate detection.

Can Capshock mouthguards prevent concussions?

Capshock mouthguards do not prevent concussions, but they are designed to help prevent concussions from going undiagnosed. By detecting and alerting to impacts that correlate with potential concussive events, our mouthguards enable timely evaluation and intervention, ensuring that athletes receive the necessary attention when it matters most.
